Pecha Kucha Night Midcoast Maine

Save the date for the next Pecha Kucha event on Friday, April 11th at Watts Hall in Thomaston, located at 246 Main Street. Celebrate the creativity of our community through visual storytelling in a unique presentation style where eight individuals present their work, their ideas, and their creative process with a 20-second-per-image, 20-image slideshow.  The doors open at 6:30 p.m. and program begins at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $5 at the door. The April 11th event will offer engaging, fast-paced presentations from a diverse array of creative talents from our region soon to be announced.

PechaKucha Night Midcoast Maine’s organizing partners include Midcoast Magnet, the Farnsworth Art Museum, Maine Boats, Homes & Harbors, Waterfall Arts, and various creative community members including Elaine Bielenberg, Maggi Blue, Jane Farthing, Kelly Finlay, Leila Murphy, Amber Heffner and Lynn Talbot.

We are currently seeking presenters for all 2014 PK nights in midcoast Maine. If you are interested in becoming a presenter, please email pechakuchamidcoast@gmail[email protected] with the following information:

  1. Your name, phone number and email address;
  2. A description of your work and/or an overview of the story you’d like to tell (250 word maximum); and
  3. A link to your website or five low-resolution images of the work you'd like to present.

We apologize that we may not be able to personally respond to every entry, but please know that we will keep you in mind for future event dates.
